Cooperation with WWOOF

There are several ways in which CouchSurfing can cooperate with WWOOF (World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms).

Farms could be some sort of meeting point as a stay is usually longer then at a normal host

Pro & Cons =

- WWOOF <-> Technology
- Freeloaders (the step to get information about farms over wwoof is higher then for example to look it up in cs farm database)
+/- would make WWooFing more popular
+ would extend the idea of CS

Meeting

December 30th, 2006 Guaka^CS and Matthew from the UK spoke with Andrew Strange from WWOOF New Zealand about how CS could help them. However, the service is totally off-line so far. At the moment, most farmers are not even interested in email. Most WWOOFing farms aren't ready to get on the internet.

Kasper is interested in setting up a wiki for WWOOF:
