- guajibo, warao, pemón, indigenous languages spoken in Venezuela;
- Elssaesserditsch, spoken in most of Alsace, a region of France
- [Dhivehi or Divehi] - spoken in the Maldives
- [Sami language], spoken by the Sami culture in northern Scandinavia. Added 7th of April 2008 by Zalle

- [Kenyan Sign Language] - even here in Pittsburgh I am friends with Kenyan Deaf who use this language.

- Chinese (Mandarin) should be Chinese (Traditional) (See [1]) (this only should apply to the page translation since it is a written distinction. for spoken, mandarin should left as is. -kellenparker)
CodeWiz Required: Doublets to be merged
If not indicated otherwise, please keep the lower number as the common ID.
Language doublets may lead to a false 'language barrier' warning or to wrong statistics etc... in any case, it's hassle. So whoever adds a language, please always double-check if it's already existing, before you add something.
- #219 and #4 are both Albanian.
- #211 and #25 are both Croatian.
- #86 Persian (2 copies) is the same as #140 Farsi. Merge all three as Persian. Keep the version of #86 which is correctly abbreviated fas.

- #146, formerly 'Tamazight' (tamz) was changed to "berber" (ber) according to ISO 639-3 and to keep it simple.
