Queensland

Queensland's population (of about 4-5 million) is concentrated in the South East of the state, around the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast (including Surfers Paradise), Toowoomba and Brisbane, the capital city of the state. Further North is Fraser Island and the rest of Queensland including the towns of Gympie, Maryborough, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Townsville, Mackay, Cairns and Mt. Isa as well as countless islands, The Great Barrier Reef, The Gulf of Carpentaria and Cape York Peninsula.
