Roy reported on the cs-dev-public list that the site is running slowly and frequently reporting "database connection problems". CallumTalk CS @ 21 May 2007, 14:38 (GMT+7).

I wonder whether someone ever bothers checking this page, but here goes nothing... can anyone tell me an estimated time at which the servers will be up again? Jim/Casey's message that "our tech guys are aware of and working on the problem" is nice, but not very helpful in itself, if cause, remedy nor starting time of the repairs is mentioned... I am expecting surfers which I doubt are aware of the emergency page in the Wiki, since someone removed the link to it from the index-page that shows Casey's not-so-accurate estimate that the problem is "solved in two hours" (which has been there since I got in at work at ten; now it's six, so in my mathematics that makes eight, not two hours). • The problem is being worked on right now by Casey. He understands what's going on and has been plugging away to get things sorted three feet from me right now. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to give an exact estimate on how much longer it will be down. He's having to transfer data from one database to another which is taking considerable time. Once this is finished the site should be operable again (very soon!) Again, reeeeally sorry for the delay. --RedCouchGuy 12:37, 30 May 2007 (EDT)
