General Rules

The food prepared here goes in your mouth, help keep everything clean

  • Keep it simple, wash your own dishes (and slightly more).
  • Get something out of the fridge or cupboard? Put it back.
  • Save yourself some time, use less, wash less.
  • It is hard to cook when all the pots and pans are dirty, please wash them
  • Some people have strict diets or food allergies. Be considerate (don't use the same knife to cut different things)

Please take a moment to pick up after yourself and do the following:

  • Take your hair out...and wipe the sink
  • Don't forget to fix the rug on the floor
  • Open the window....when you finish
  • Put your stuff back in the cabinet

The CouchSurfing Collective is not about a dirty couch

Landlord expects the house to be returned better than when we got it. That is called respect. If you don't know what respect is, check Respect at Wikipedia

For example:

  • The vacuum cleaner can be very efficient in cleaning the floors
  • Being tolerant and understanding is very effective, however it does not apply very well when the living room is messy in the morning.
  • When you buy chocolate, there is a rubbish bin to toss the wrapping.
