Stavanger is a city in Norway . Stavanger is Norway's 4th largest "city" with appr. 120,000 people. It is the centre for the international oil busines.

Stavanger will be a European Culture Capital in 2008 (basicly a method of spending tax payers money on things they dont want or need) - however a good website exits in English about the area. http://www.stavanger2008.com
