Tech Team Meetings

The statements and opinions on this page are solely those of its authors and do not necessarily represent the official position of CouchSurfing International.

THIS PAGE IS OUTDATED

Now you're rocking with the Tech team
( documentsstatusmeetingswhy we work on CS )

Past meetings

Upcoming meetings

TBA (every friday(US-Europe)/saturday(AUS/NZ) seems to work for most though)

Agenda for the upcoming meeting

  • Who has access to database and web servers and how do we contact them when the servers are down?
  • Who has access to database and how can they be contacted (and can be expected to respond quickly enough) to modify the schema for site development needs?
  • NDA (again)
  • Open CS

Anu would like to have a quick chat about the following, however considers "official" response to NDA and open CS issues more important (these topics will suit email-only approach just fine):

  • Forming tech@couchsurfing.com (or dev@couchsurfing.com - there's creative@ and media@ already) address for members to easily reach all of us through a single interface instead of randomly shooting emails to few of us, or contacting the leader only (which is not a guaranteed method to get through to who they need to be talking to)
  • Publishing a who's who of currently active tech team members on the site or wiki (possibly at cs.com/dev.html for non-tech team members?) for the sake of openness and accountability
  • What's going on with new dev applications - any new developers in negotiations, and how do we proceed from here.
  •  ???
