I'd be interested in joining. I know Mexican cafe downtown but that gets crowded and I heard there's better places

Yeah that's a nice place I have been there too.. I think in Albany too they organize Latin dancing events

Try "The Kingslander" in Kingsland, they have salsa nights on Wednesdays and they do classes too I think. I turned up on a Wednesday by accident a few weeks ago and ended up having a great time, great vibe and really friendly crowd.
