CURRENT MISSION Travel to interesting countries, make global friends, enjoy local living. ABOUT ME My wife, Linda, and I are easily impressed and awed by new surroundings, new friends. We like to establish some solid friendships and contacts to continue a relationship long after a visit. Also, not hesitant to plan return(s). PHILOSOPHY We are non-political (we have our own preferences, but do not attempt to influence others). Life is becoming too short to not enjoy whatever we can afford, wherever and how we choose.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I usually - not always - travel with my wife, Linda. I am more adventurous, curious, adaptable; but she follows well. We prefer to say in hotels (inexpensive - but not poor quality); visit/dine as guests and hosts. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Very little. I met a very nice government, military executive on a local train. We correspond (email) regularly; discuss family activities. We look forward to a closer visit in their country or ours.

Novels, news and trade magazines/periodicals. All kinds of music. Movies with realism of plot and characters.

My life has been filled with culture, love, appreciation, education, experience. Too much to fill this space.

I can teach almost anything about my home and location. I am an avid learner for the cultures, countries, cities, customs that I visit.
Meine Interessen
Love to play golf - play very poorly, but I don't care! My wife is an avid shopper. I also enjoy (and own) airplanes and motorcycles, but pretty standard operations.
