I’m on an ongoing journey, often through Couchsurfing, meeting people who challenge my thinking, make me laugh until it hurts, and remind me how big the world really is. I’m not a millionaire, so funding my travels is a balancing act, adventure has to share the stage with earning a living. I have a complicated relationship with humanity. I’m fascinated by the quirks of human behavior, and I love people who spark my curiosity. But selfishness and grumpiness? That part I could live without. Current Mission I’m looking for work that feels more like an adventure than a job. My travel wishlist is long, but Japan, Norway, Sweden, every inch of Ireland, India (again and again), and Finland are top of the list. About Me I’m a down-to-earth dreamer with a soft spot for the extraordinary. I’m on an endless hunt for the perfect cake recipe, though I’ve already mastered cheesecake. My life’s been split between the UK and South Africa, and for the past 20 years I’ve been a live-in carer for the elderly and disabled, something I never planned when I studied Fashion Design. One year into fashion, I realised it wasn’t enough for me. Caregiving gave me the meaning I was missing. It’s taught me patience, perspective, and how quickly life can turn upside down. Recently, I completed a UX/UI design course, blending my love for technology with creativity. My goal now is to work remotely, keep travelling, and collect experiences that reshape how I see the world.
