I think it's great to have friends all over the world. Also there is nothing better than spending time with locals! I always try to make people from other counties feel welcome in my home country, it gives me a good feeling and I don't want people to leave Germany saying that Germans are awful people. My family and I hosted lots of exchange students and when I look back at this time, I remember how great it is to get the chance to meet people from other counties and different cultures! Shearing family traditions, story's from 'home' and even a simple recipe is great :)
