CURRENT MISSION laugh and live ABOUT ME I'm originally from South Africa. My family moved to Ohio when I was younger. I moved to Vermont in 2006 to pursue work and ended up earning my Master's in Special Education while living there. I moved back to Ohio to be closer to family (June 2012). I love being outdoors, hearing live music, and being active in the community. Spent time in New Mexico. Now I live in Chicago. Moving to Israel in April 2020. Vegan. PHILOSOPHY Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about un-becoming everything that isn’t really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place. Unknown

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Welcoming others into my domicile and by being a courteous and genuine person... I hope to help the CS community by providing honest feedback on guests of mine, sharing in the fun, and breaking down barriers. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far I've met some people while traveling through Chicago... had a great time... bicycled 25 miles around the city with 10,000+ people to raise money for the Cook County Parks. I've had several CSurfer stay with me... and growing.

Partying, Swimming in deep Vermont lakes, talking to my mom & dad, checking in with my siblings and their kiddies, learning about herbs, water, children and myself. A deep interest of mine is helping the elderly, our wisdom-keepers, who are not cherished as they ought to be in our society. You can judge a society by how they treat their elders... In addition, I'm interested in the effects of Nature on children, adults, and communities, travel, exploration, and having a good time.
