Whenever I travel to various countries I always want to experience the culture like a local. I know persons, myself included, who will travel to a city and confine themselves to a all inclusive hotel. However, as I matured I realised that you cannot fully appreciate and increase your knowledge about a country by just staying in a hotel you have to go out and walk the streets, meet the locals an enjoy the countries vibe. That is basically why I was intrigued by Couchsurfing, you get a first hand experience of the culture by staying with one of the locals....truly priceless! Here to meet the locals and have fun :)
