CURRENT MISSION To earn a PhD in Psychology ABOUT ME I am 36 and had two strokes five years ago. They left me with many physical challenges, including mobility and speech. I use a walker (frame) to get around short distances and either my electric scooter or manual wheelchair (when I can find someone to push me!) for longer distances. I have not let my disabilities stop me! I've been to China, Italy, Paris, and Northern Ireland for a semester studying abroad. PHILOSOPHY "Never give up, never surrender" from the movie Galaxy Quest and "Get busy living or get busy dying" also from a movie, I just can't remember which one.
