I love travelling, but when I am somewhere, I want to get to know the place I'm in the most I can. And you can't do this in a hotel room! In recent time, I found myself travelling alone a lot. Probably I am just not on the same travelling wavelength with my friends... firstly, I was scared but I actually found out that being alone makes you more open-minded to what the world offers and also - alone doesn't mean lonely. Couchsurfing is a great thing to help you find some people - potentially friends - to hang out with when travelling.
