I prefer to travel at ground level - I'd much rather meet locals than stay at hotels with other tourists :)

Movies: Donnie Darko, Mulholland Drive, Super Troopers - lots more, but that's a representative sample. Books: Siddhartha, 1984, Snow Crash, short stories.
