I am from Cedar Rapids, Ia. I have been a licensed massage therapist for 11 years working in an upscale salon. I also have an office in a yoga studio. I love the connection in the work and the flexible schedule really suits me. I am really just trying to travel more and make the most of it. Traveling makes me a better person!

Just trying to open up to a more authentic and interesting travel experience. Couchsurfing seems the most wonderful and easy way to meet someone along the way.

Always looking for new music, but coming of age in central Florida, I still love me some old school techno! It's great to hear new stuff and I am definitely a movie buff. There is nothing better than the big screen! As far as books, I am pretty much open to anything. I always like to start something new to read for a trip.

Last January I was on my phone and saw a flight to Thailand for $497. Now you can't even fly to California from Cedar Rapids for that, so I bought it spur of the moment. I had never even researched the country before, and it wasn't even on my list of places to go! I had the most amazing time and learned to book the ticket first, and deal with details later.
