I see it as a great alternative to hotels - not only when it comes to price (but as I am really anti Airbnb it becomes a reason as well), but also an opportunity to really get to know the locals. And exprerience "their" way of living.

I have quite a wide taste - depends on my mood, but mostly I listen to anything that has "funky" vibes (mainly the early 70s), garage 60s, and you can always please my ears by turning on some David Bowie or Michael Jackson. I am really into Classics as well - especially baroque (Harpsichord lover!). When it comes to cinema, I like the classic French new wave and old school Czech(oslovak) comedies. But I definitely like to try some other genres by going on film festivals.
