My passion is for becoming a joyfully responsible member of the earth community, for opening my heart and loving more deeply, for cultivating the sensitivity and discernment which make greater opening possible. I love to dance, and I am interested in holistic health, depth and transpersonal psychology, literature, and all kinds of artistic expression. I grew up in Texas. My mother was Peruvian, and our family language was Spanish, which I have continued speaking, also with my children. I've been living in Germany since 1997, and I have three grown-up/almost grown-up children. My husband and I have recently separated. I'm exploring the possibilities which are opening in my life, starting a new chapter.

I have joined for the practical reason that I am looking for a place to stay in Santa Fe while I study Qi Gong and Yoga in the next weeks, and because I have a very limited budget at the moment. The limitation which my current financial situation puts me in, I see as an opportunity to broaden my horizons, to open myself to new people and experiences, to deepen my awareness of the interdependence we have on each other, to practice gratitude for the gifts I receive, and to honor these gifts, cooperating and helping out how I can.

most recent book I loved: Frank Herbert's Dune. In the past, I really enjoyed the stories of Borges, Cortazar, Garcia-Marquez, Vargas-Llosa. And I've enjoyed the poetry of Walt Whitman Song, EE Cummings, Emily Dickinson. Cesar Vallejo, Garcia Lorca, Ruben Dario. movies: Fellini, Vittorio de Sica, Lina Wertmueller, Lars von Trier, Wong Kar-Wai, Kurosawa, Bunuel, Tom Tykwer, Kusturica, Jodorowsky... I love Brazilian music, especially Chico Buarque, and I love a lot of South American music from Peru, Argentina, Mexico... and also Gypsy music, fusion
