HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We've had some great experiences in the past with couch surfing, and made some good friends through it. We're hoping to do more of the same for now (participate in meetups, go for coffees etc) and maybe think about another trip at some point in the future. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE We visited Heidelberg, Germany and couch surfed with a great guy called Andreas. He had another couch surfer visiting him at that point too, so we all had really interesting discussions well into the night. Couch surfing with Andreas greatly improved our trip, and we've subsequently been back a couple of times to visit him again - we'd love to have more experiences like that. We've also really enjoyed being part of various couch surfing board game groups. We've had a lot of fun going into London to play games on a Sunday afternoon.

Mel - I love reading (novels, short stories and poetry). Recently, I read The Thread by Victoria Hislop, which I liked. I've also been reading the Peter Rothfuss books (The Name of the Wind etc). I do secretly enjoy reading comic books and graphic novels, too! Karl - I love Science Fiction and Fantasy mostly in the form of film or TV. My favourites are Firefly, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings. I also haven't grown out of my love for video games despite being in my 30s.
