I'm also a pretty huge history nerd. I guess I have my father to thank for that. He taught history and is a big fan, too.

I have a simple place in a simple town. It's about 30 miles from downtown Austin and 25 miles from the airport. Everyone drives through here on their way to Houston or to the beach. I live close to a lake and a state park. I'm ok in the kitchen, but always open to learning more. My dog will probably like you within 10 seconds of meeting you.

Being a musician and an educator are the central things in my life. But I'm a big fan of walking/running, trying to keep up with my dog.
