I found out about this recently, and I thought it would be a great way to meet new people, travel, and learn the culture of an area. My best experiences travelling have been when I have gotten to live with locals, so I would like to have that again and also give other people the opportunity to have that experience. I love the idea of spreading kindness and sharing life stories through offering up a place to sleep in your home for someone else.

My true passion in life is social justice, so you'll likely catch me reading the works of great feminist minds like Roxane Gay, Cordelia Fine, and Peggy Orenstein. Right now, I am reading Killing the Black Body by Dorothy Roberts. I'm always down to have a conversation about feminism. I like a variety of movies. Typically, if a movie has some kind of social commentary in a clever way (think Get Out), then, I really like it. I'm also trying to get into scary movies, so maybe we could watch one if you're into that. From growing up in Atlanta, I love rap, hip-hop, and R&B. I'm really proud of the music that comes out of Atlanta, and I would love to share it with you.
