I joined Couchsurfing with the hope to meet new people and make lasting friendship with folks beyond my borders, all while having a more unique and memorable experience in the places I visit.

My go-to genres are Neo Soul, R&B, Jazz and Funk (e.g. Phony Ppl, Ravyn Lenae, Kali Uchis, Men I Trust) I've always said The Color Purple is my favorite film. It still is. Tarantino, Kubrick, Fincher are my favorite filmmakers. I've been on Kafka on the Shore for a minute, but definitely prefer non-fiction and history.

I got to travel through Morocco helping my close friend shoot a documentary under the radar, moving from metro-industrial Casablanca to traditional Fes to the super rural Atlas Mt. villages in less than three weeks. Didn't actually do it, but once got an invitation to sing Christmas carols for Queen Elizabeth II some few years ago. Yea, I'm still bewildered.

I'm pretty good around the kitchen, so always down to teach others how to make something new. Anything domestic really... I'm open and excited to learning anything. Let's share stories and personal advice; I could always use a second opinion.
