CURRENT MISSION To see the world while meeting some incredible people along the way. ABOUT ME My Name is Colin, I am currently travelling with my girlfriend, Ash, before moving to her home country of Canada. We only have about a month and are spending it in Portugal and Spain. I am a qualified carpenter but more renenctly have been working in Hospitality and tourism, especially in backpacker hostels which is a scene I am passionate about after spending much of the last 6 years travelling and working around the world. Ash is also also an avid traveler who loves cooking and trying local dishes from wherever we go.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I havn't used couchsurfing in a few years now, I had great experiences with it in the past when travelling, unfortunately when going home to Melbourne because of living agreements was unable to host through couchsurfing but was always happy to host past hosts and other people I had met travelling and show them around town. It is a great way to meet like minded people from different parts of the world and get to see new places from a locals point of view.
Music, Movies, and Books
Can listen to almost anything but laid back indie folk is what i'm loving atm. Am a big documantary watcher, mainly space, animal and nature docos but always like learning about most topics. Have become a fan of historic fiction recently, currently reading Conn igguldon books.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Living and working in a treehouse on Koh Lanta, Thailand for 2 months was an incredible experience.

Love Australian Football so love to teach people about our great game. Ash is a very good cook and happy to teach some of her skills.

Experiences. We are both very outgoing, social people who love to meet new people and share stories of our travels and our home countries.
My Interests
When we are not travelling, we love to watch docos on nature and deep space. I love watching sports, but mainly AFL. Am always up for a chat with strangers over a pint or 2 at a local pub.
