It turns out meeting with locals is the best way to discover a city, and I find it fulfilling to share with people with various backgrounds and experiences and stories. When I travel I don't necessarily couchsurf, I am mostly looking for hosts that might be available to show me around or at least with whom I could spend a little bit of time. Otherwise I might as well go to a hostel ☺️ Also I am hosting in Paris because I believe travelers don't have to spend so much money for their accommodations. And of course whenever I am available I like to offer what I expect when I am traveling myself: a little bit of my time to discuss and walk around the city and maybe share a meal and/or a drink.
