Hey folks, welcome to my little corner of the world! I’m Brajesh — 35, unmarried yet saved so far ! originally from Bihar, seasoned by Lucknow, and currently living in Panchkula. I work closely with the government here, also in love with mountains which has kept me based in the hills for the past 10 years… and honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Travel, treks, and long mountain drives. If you’re someone who loves exploring hidden trails, peaceful sunrises, or chai with a view, we’ll get along instantly. I’ve roamed through almost every corner of Himachal — from the famous spots to the tiny unheard-of villages. So if you’re heading toward Shimla, Kasauli, Chail, or deeper into the state, I can help you plan the perfect offbeat itinerary or even show you around if time permits.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because: -I love meeting open-minded, curious people -I enjoy sharing local insights — no guidebook tells you -I genuinely like helping travellers experience the “real” Himachal -and because sometimes the best conversations happen at 2 AM over chai Travel has shaped me, and Couchsurfing keeps that spirit alive even when I’m not on the road. It’s a way to exchange kindness, culture, ideas, and a few laughs along the way. If you’re someone who travels with respect, curiosity, and a sense of adventure — we’ll get along great.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I once completed a cross-country train journey across 12 Indian states in one go — just me, my bag, and the open railway line cutting through the heart of India. It changed the way I see people, stories, and journeys forever. and 5 times to Kedarnath. More on the go.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can share stories and insights from living and working across different Indian states — from the calm of Himachal to the warmth of Bihar and the tehzeeb of Lucknow. I love talking about travel, governance, community work, mountain life, sustainability, and the small lessons the road teaches you. If you’re into trekking, photography, or planning offbeat itineraries, I can guide you like a true local. Learn: I’m always curious about how people live, think, work, and dream in different parts of the world. Teach me a new recipe, a cultural ritual, a local greeting, a travel hack, or your favourite life philosophy. I enjoy learning about new cultures, belief systems, and the everyday wisdom people carry without realising it. I believe every traveller adds a little something to your worldview — and I’m always open to that exchange.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I’d love to exchange stories, experiences, and perspectives — whether it’s about travel, work, culture, music, books, or life in general. We can cook together, explore together, or simply sit with chai and talk about the world. I’m happy to share everything… except my toothbrush 😉
