Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and spent three months traveling around the Philippines and SE Asia. I am hoping to connect with interesting people who wish to exchange unique experiences, knowledge and insight.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Requiem for a Dream, Snow on the Bluff, Riding Giants, Fury, Ex Machina, Beasts of No Nation Books: Where Good Ideas Come From, Shogun, Harry Potter, Another Road Side Attraction, Lonesome Dove Music: Sublime, Bassnectar, Zeds Dead, Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey, Hudson Mohawke, Flume, Boombox, Daft Punk, Little Dragon
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Peace Corps. Within Peace Corps climbed Mt. Guiting-guiting, biked around my island in a day, went on a night-time commercial fishing trip, danced around the Philippines, dove with whale-sharks, had a plethora of other adventures and developed a yearning to travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to install a residential solar system. Play soccer. Change a bike tire. Show you how to kayak and fish.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Enthusiasm, photos, videos, kayaking, soccer and stories of my Philippines adventure. I'll read Harry Potter to you.
My Interests
I have played soccer my whole life and was fortunate enough to develop the sport for a college and elementary school in my Municipality. Food is delicious and I hope to improve my culinary abilities. History is fascinating because it is the blue print to the present. Movies and tv shows. Physical activity especially treking and biking. Striving to improve oneself. Thoughtful discussion. Continued learning.
