Happy, ambitious, always learning and always trying to improve. I love reading, exploring new pubs and wine bars, thoughtful conversations (especially about philosophy, humans, politics...), and ultimate frisbee! I want to have as large of a positive impact on the world as I can. Some random happenings in my life to get a little color about my background: - Born in October 1984 in Wisconsin - Kindergarten woke up to a cow grazing on my front lawn. That's an accurate representation of my hometown in Wisconsin - 6th grade decided my life dream was to become a wildlife park ranger. I emailed the University of Idaho President to ask for admission to their prestigious park ranger program. He told me to stop emailing him. - High school I got suspended for playing chess during study hall due to the "no games allowed" policy. I found this absurd and took it to the school-board. The rule is now: "No games during study hall except chess." - College attended a small liberal arts college called Ohio Wesleyan, spent a year at Oxford studying British pubs and loving dry brit humour - Post-college, Traveled to Africa and did wildlife conservation research in Zimbabwe, then went to Kenya and did HIV research - Attended Stanford business school to stay warm - Went back to Africa to South Africa to work in Venture Capital - Started a company in India - Now working on a company to help people learn more, be happier and become excellent in their careers

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I believe you can learn something from every person you meet and I'd love to learn from others and share my own experiences if it is of interest. I also love to truly experience new places, cultures and things rather than just visit.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music. Right now, I love hip hop with a gospel choir in the background! Glorious by Macklemore is awesome!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I woke up on my birthday a few years ago and decided to run a marathon on a whim. I did it, but couldn't walk for a few days after ;).
Teach, Learn, Share
Happy to share my learnings from reading hundreds of books in the last couple years. I can also share how to start a company, raise funding, get into business school etc.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Thoughtful conversation over tea or wine. Help with their career or business (my company focuses on this). Lots of positive energy :).
