Hello, I'm Ibrahim Hatouchi from Morocco, based in Marrakech. I am passionate about travel, cultural exchange, and outdoor adventures. As the founder of Tamazgha Travel, I spend much of my time exploring Morocco's deserts, mountains, ancient kasbahs, and Amazigh villages, creating authentic experiences for travelers from around the world. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures, sharing local knowledge, and helping visitors discover the real Morocco beyond the usual tourist routes. Whether it's a cup of mint tea, a conversation about life and travel, or an adventure in the Sahara, I believe the best experiences come from genuine human connections. My interests include travel, hiking, desert exploration, Amazigh culture, photography, entrepreneurship, and discovering hidden places. Feel free to reach out if you're visiting Morocco or simply want to exchange travel stories. You're always welcome!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and building genuine connections through travel. For me, travel is not only about visiting new places but also about sharing experiences, stories, and perspectives with others. As a local from Morocco, I love helping travelers discover the country beyond the guidebooks, sharing insights about our culture, traditions, and way of life. I also enjoy learning about other countries and hearing the unique stories that each traveler brings. Whether it's sharing a meal, exchanging travel tips, exploring a city together, or simply having a good conversation over mint tea, I believe these human connections are what make travel truly memorable.
Music, Movies, and Books
**Music:** I enjoy a mix of music depending on the mood and the journey. I particularly like Amazigh and Moroccan music, traditional folk rhythms, world music, and relaxing acoustic sounds. Music is one of my favorite companions during long drives through the desert and the mountains. **Movies:** I enjoy adventure, travel, historical, and documentary films, especially those that explore different cultures, landscapes, and real-life stories. I also appreciate movies that inspire exploration and personal growth. **Books:** I enjoy reading about travel, history, culture, entrepreneurship, and personal development. I am particularly interested in books that provide insights into different civilizations, ancient traditions, and the stories of explorers and adventurers.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
One of the most amazing things I've done is explore some of the most remote regions of southern Morocco, traveling through deserts, mountains, and isolated Amazigh villages that few visitors ever get to see. These journeys taught me resilience, adaptability, and a deep appreciation for Morocco's diverse landscapes and cultures. Through my work and travels, I have also had the opportunity to help travelers from around the world discover authentic experiences in Morocco, creating memories and friendships that often last long after their trip has ended. For me, connecting people with new places, cultures, and adventures is one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable.
Teach, Learn, Share
**Teach:** I can teach about Moroccan culture, Amazigh traditions, local customs, travel planning, and the best ways to explore Morocco off the beaten path. I also enjoy sharing practical travel tips and stories from my experiences in the desert and mountains. **Learn:** I love learning about different cultures, languages, traditions, and ways of life. Every traveler has a unique story, and I'm always curious to hear about people's experiences, countries, and perspectives. **Share:** I'm happy to share a cup of Moroccan mint tea, travel stories, local recommendations, cultural insights, and good conversations. If you're visiting Morocco, I'd be glad to share my favorite places and help you experience the country like a local.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can share stories from Morocco, Amazigh culture and traditions, travel experiences from the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains, and insights into daily life in Morocco. I also enjoy cooking and can prepare a simple Moroccan meal or share Moroccan mint tea with my hosts. Most importantly, I bring a positive attitude, respect for different cultures, good conversations, and a genuine interest in getting to know people and their way of life. I believe the best part of Couchsurfing is the cultural exchange, so I'm always happy to share experiences, ideas, and travel stories while creating meaningful connections.
