I'm 23 and travelling around south and central America with my friend, hoping to finish our travels in San Francisco! At home I am a singer songwriter in a band, as well as a waitress. I enjoy meeting new people, exploring new places and feeling inspired. My travels so far have taught me a lot and I hope to learn more about the beautiful world.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am couch surfing because it seems like a great way to meet people and stay somewhere without breaking the bank. When I was younger my mother had a few couch surfers stay in our family home and it was always a lovely experience, and something I would love to do my self!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
One amazing thing (out of many) that I've done on this trip is going to see the lightening plankton off the coast of Cartagena. It was so dark that you could see the milky way above you and float in the dark water surrounded by beautiful shimmering light.
My Interests
I have written songs since I was a teenager but it was only when I found my band that the singing and songwriting became a huge part of my life. It's the thing I enjoy most! And putting on gigs gives us the opportunity to donate money to charitable causes, which adds another dimension of meaning to being a performer. The last gig we did, we managed to raise a bit of money (and hopefully some awareness) for Help Refugees which is something I would like to do more of.
