UPDATE: Sorry, I cannot host anymore for JULY. I will be able to host again possibly in AUGUST or SEPTEMBER. About me: My name is Nathan. I spend an inexcusable amount of time watching videos online - mostly talks/lectures and documentaries. I thoroughly enjoy talking with people and learning from others. I absolutely love green tea and coffee. Also, I really love being in nature. I try to take nature walks or go hiking whenever I get the chance. I value sincerity, self-reflection, compassion, and diligence PHILOSOPHY Be positive, be kind, and strive to find enjoyment in everything. Live with intention, focus, and awareness. Let the good arise from all things - at least try.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm finally in a position where I can host people and I'm excited about it! I also try to connect people however I can and let people know about this great community. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE In the summer of 2010, I stayed near Shibuya with a CS member named Hana. I stayed at the beginning of the summer in May and then again at the end in early August. I guess in total I was with him for about 2.x weeks? I had a fantastic experience. Everyone I've connected with from the CS community has impacted my life in a positive way.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Everyday is amazing to me. So, in that sense, the amazing things I've seen are innumerable. To be more specific, though, traveling in Japan certainly amazed me a million times over. I drove, coast to coast, across the U.S. with 6 others in a van, it was a great experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always astounded by the creativity and unique insight of those I meet. I love to learn from people who are open-minded, passionate, and have a passion for learning. I appreciate both the analytical and the artistic. I enjoy teaching piano and English as a second language.
