Hey! I'm Thomas, I'm from Canada and I'm currently travelling for the first time on the West Coast BC with my girlfriend, Alba. Alba is from Spain Catalunya, we met in the Caribbean while travelling and since then we havent stop! She is now having the work holiday visa and we are heading toward Vancouver island hoping to find a job to past the summer! We first left from Québec with our car and we crossed Canada until Banff, where we spend the winter working in a restaurant. On site, we heard beautiful things about the island, so we decided to get on the road again and continu our trip! I studied in humanities, especially in sociology, politic and anthropology, I really liked it because it helped me realize that « the difference » it’s not weird, scary or useless, but in the contrary, discover the differences is the best way of learning and the best way to become a better person! Alba studied law in Barcelona and finished a master in animal laws hoping to find opportunities in Canada to work and care about animals. One Amazing Thing I've Done
On my last year of study I did a traineeship in Vietnam! During a total of 6 months I was in a group of 21 students and we learned differents subjects about Vietnam (history, politic, anthropology, language). And finally, we all went to Vietnam during 5 weeks to live a big cultural immersion in vietnamese family! It was so nice because during many days we experiment the Vietnam life just like a local!
