Hi everyone- my name is Jess and i am currently travelling around with my fiance Braydon. So yep, we come as a pair. Haha. We are both Aussies- im a nurse and Braydon is in property. We left Australia last November to work a ski season in Japan and will head to Europe for the first time in May for about 4 months. We are both friendly, respectful people who arent going to trash your house! We definitely value cleanliness and being tidy, so you can assure we will leave your place that way. Im a pretty bubbly, sweet and chatty gal but can also pick up the social cues on when to shut up. Haha. Braydon is a chill, honest, friendly guy who loves to have a casual beer. He loves to cycle (and is trying to get Jess into it) so if you know of cheap bike rental and some good routes he would love to know about it. We are both non smokers and not huge party goers but still love to have a beverage or three. We also love animals- so if you have pets thats fine by us. We love to eat and drink coffee and get out and explore. We are both active people and love to be on the go but do also enjoy some down time after a big day. If you have any amazing coffee recommendations we would LOVE to know about them. We seriously love the stuff and after drinking coffee from a can in Japan we are ready for the real deal.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
We are giving couch surfing a go because lets be honest- who can afford to travel the globe for 10 months. Haha. We also love travelling and meeting new people- especially the locals because it opens up whole new opportunities to explore in that city/area. Chilling with the locals will help us get away from those tourist traps and into something more authentic and real.

我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
Braydon- hiked to the peak of a mountain with my snowboard and rode fresh tracks in metre deep powder with my mates in Japan Jess- went on a camping/hiking holiday in autumn for 3 weeks through Colorado and the national parks there- setting the tent up with no snow and waking up to it being covered in it, trekking through the mountains and seeing the amazing colour changes in the leaves, waking up to the sound of a bear- it was amazing.

Teach- we are both happy to sit down and chat to improve upon your English skills if you need/like. We are not teachers but are happy to give you some pointers and do conversational English. Learn- we would love to learn a language. So if you can teach us a couple of phrases we would be more than appreciative. OR even if you can show us how to cook a delicious local dish that would be amazing too. Share- we'll share our positive, easy going vibes. We can both cook so we can always cook a meal for everyone too :)

We understand that couch surfing isn't free- yep free accommodation but we are still going to be using your space/water/heating. We will cook or buy you coffee or food or whatever is reasonable to say thank you for looking out for us. We are both clean and tidy and will not leave your place in a horrible mess. We are more than happy to tell you our stories if you would like. We can recommend you places to visit in Australia and Hokkaido (Japans north island). We'll share all our knowledge and travel experiences. We are both respectful people and mindful that you have a life to get to :)
