Studied info and library science at UNC Chapel Hill. Have lived on nature communes in the NC mountains. Been all through the U.S. mostly by hitchhiking and bus. I write articles on nature, civilization, and technology. Currently working on a book. Pretty open to most anything, a fan especially of the weird and marginal, but sometimes have trouble with social anxiety. After a short while that goes away.
