I grew up in central Minnesota surrounded by water and because of this I have somewhat of an affinity for the stuff. In, on or under it. I lived in eastern South Dakota for five years where I learned how much I truly took advantage of having lakes, trees..... and any amount of elevation.

I have an extremely wide array of interests but if it's outdoors it's usually a safe bet that I am excited about it. I am an Eagle Scout and still heavily involved in scouting but mostly at the International level these days. I am very passionate about personal, team and leadership development and have been facilitating courses on those topics since I was 13. I also love to cook and try new food.
