I am a midwestern, USA college student with aspirations to see the world and meet people. I am amazed by the diversity of people and look for every opportunity I can get to learn the stories of individuals, how they ended up where they are, and where they hope to be someday.

I will be studying abroad in Madrid starting in August of 2017 and hope to see as much of the world as possible and meet amazing people all along the way. I am a big believer in the idea that the best way to experience a place is to meet the people and what better way than to sleep on their couch?

I'm a fan of indie pop and alternative music, but I will listen to pretty much anything. I am always down to find new artists and explore new genres. My favorite movie is the musical edition of Les Miserables but like my music taste, my movie taste is wide ranging. I like comedies, action movies, scary movies, animated movies, etc. I enjoy a lot of American authors such as John Steinbeck and Ernest Hemingway but I do not get as many chances to read as I would like.
