I am Monica and I was born in Italy 23 years ago. I did my bachelor in Energy Engineering in Turin and now I live in Stockholm, where I am studying for my MSc in Renewable Energy. I am trying to make a change in this world thanks to knowledge and love, strictly connected to my concern towards climate change. I love travelling, hiking into the nature, playing the guitar, singing and living life to the fullest!

My favourite band is Queen. I love Jacob Collier, Snarky Puppy and many more! Music is the best! If I had to choose, I'd say that my favourite book is "The Count of Monte Cristo", but the list of books which deeply inspires me is actually endless.

When I was 16, I lived as an exchange student in the USA for a year. It remains one of the best experiences of my life, I learnt a lot about myself and met countless amazing people from all around the world. When I came back to Italy, me and my family hosted a boy from China for a year and it was just amazing. Connecting with people from all over is something genuinely precious, that makes me see the real beauty of the world.
