to open my mind one country at a time
29 y.o. girl from Australia, moving to Berlin (update: I ended up in Barcelona) to pursue photography. I am open minded, excitable and fun. I'm traveling to meet new people and learn new ideas. I want to see the world from a different point of view, to be inspired, hopefully that inspiration will translate into my work. I want to meet locals, and experience the culture from their point of view. I am not a tourist but a traveller.
I will be travelling in late April around Europe with my best friend for over a decade, Lisa Searle, who is also a couch surfer. One of the more amazing people I have ever known. She is currently in Brussels working for MSF (doctors without borders), and she hopes to go to her third mission to Kenya later on next year.
Not really MY personal philosophy, but a few of my favourite quotes...
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
"Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination." - Oscar Wilde
"My favourite thing is to go where I've never been" -Dianne Arbus
