About Me

All I can do is try! And wait for the miracle...

Learning about the world. Doing as much exploring as I can outside of the classroom, with and without others. Always up for new things!! Always thankful for each day I have to live.

I am on hospitality club...
username: cometravel

ICYWTK - I've never chosen to take the CS Verification as I don't view it as necessary. If I was staying or meeting get "verification" ...I would do this through the communication channel (email, phone, etc) with that person or people. But sure if you feel things are more secure going that route, that's your choice. I'm not anyone to judge you for such a thing. And I would expect anyone to appreciate their own safety as a vital matter. So, do what's best for you.

My profile and what my connections are should speak for who I am. Hopefully the message comes across if you read this profile.

*Check out the Couchsurfing Wikileak I recently saw. (I'm putting it here to make you think.)

I don't have any particular spin at this PIT to say what's good or bad. It can put some matters dealing with Hospitality, Business, and the Internet all on a nice boiler-plate ~ and as it is, it's hard to view anything coming to you for FREE in the world. Right? Nothing coming from nothing?

To speak for CS...well, you can't do it anymore, but I made a very very small donation to CS to speak for how this site has changed my life. I think anything with such an impact should be appreciated. Here's the link, check it

AND around yourself and find your own sources. This is just a taste for your own inspiration to seek truth.

See the regular Wiki ~

Sometimes my CS profile gets dated like something left in the fridge for awhile, sorry.

Make music, make literature. **If you do one OR both of these things I'd love to be in contact with you.

Take full advantage of the abilities I have. To embrace the human spirit with what I can offer it and the people that carry it as they live with me in this world.

I live my life in spend-thrift ways awake in fascination and adoration of the beautiful and the sinful. i have this intense and penetrating curiosity on occasion. i like to listen to the sounds that life makes. body language that carries virtuous charm always takes my attention. taking pleasure in the unexpected usually proves to be good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

**I first want to say I apologize if my message to you appears mixed up in what is being said. The new Couchsurfing Message System retains the history of previous messages and I only pay attention to the bottom portion of what can be included in writing to a Host. While I am apologetic of this, I must say it may make for some interesting messages you can receive.**

I volunteer my time when I can to advertise about CS. And using the site to effectively participate in more CS events as well as meet other great CS'rs from all over the world whenever/wherever I can...

I have had several experiences so far --and I'm truly impressed with the people I have met and what I have learned from visiting the areas I have traveled to while surfing. Especially about myself...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Grand Canyons, Paris, Big Sur, Carmel, San Francisco, Boston, Hancock Observatory with a $10 martini, Burning Man..

-Wrestling a girl in 9th grade at a wrestling tournament AND almost losing, she was fierce and she really messed this other guy up pretty bad.

-Sky Dive (completed July 4, 2009)

-Gave a used bike to charity when visiting the SF Asian Art Museum, it was actually right in front of the museum: actually the bike was stolen from me most likely to be used to support a drug addiction. The sad fact is the bike could not have been worth more than $20...Yes, my cynicism told me I only knew it was a matter of time before it was going to happen

-One time when I was little, on father's day, I was fishing with my older brother and I caught what I thought was this giant goldfish. As I was reeling it in the fish unhooked itself, but my brother was just there in time to catch the fish in his hands, seriously, in his hands. My heart would have broke if that fish got away, it was too unique. Well it turns out the fish was a Palomino. My dad did not even know what kind of fish it was. We even got it mounted with the tag "andrews goldfish"

-Enveloped by what seemed to be an experience of death (fall 06) as I was giving a 3rd vial of blood for a paying experimental examination; it was weird, I had this prismatic rainbow effect happen and then this red flash, I definitely lost consciousness, fainted (I can only say it was similiar to what you go through in falling asleep)- it scared the nurses, I was alright, pretty exciting, after that I had this buzz kind of like what you would experience from a cigarette and a very strong heart palpitation

*I think my existence in general is very amazing*
