About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Study everything I love. Learn Russian. Meet new people.

ABOUT ME

I'm a passionate person who loves moka, photography, travelling, movies and reading. And oh ! I like going out, but I usually prefer to talk in a café or going out for a walk with some friends or listen to a movie. I love learning new things !

PHILOSOPHY

One day, Maria Nicolaevna said :"Time flies by with a horrible quickness". Several months later, she died with her family in July 1918 at Ekaterinburg, Russia. I want to love everything in my life. I want to have no regrets. Just as James Dean said :"Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today. "

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First, I want to offer a couch for world travelers. I want to show us my town, Montreal, and our culture in Quebec. I want to offer them the best and, in return, I want to learn about them. Their experiences, their travels, their culture, etc. I couchsurfed when I was in Europe and I want to give back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few people and loved it. I was also hosted in Amsterdam and Moscow and it was an amazing experience

Interests

I really appreciate any forms of art and culture. I'm passionate about history, photography, movies and books. I also appreciate philosophy, particularly in a debate form. I like learning new languages, because I think it's the mirror of a culture. I also have a (little ? ^^) passion for Russia. As I studied in Humanities, I developped an interest in sociology, psychology, history and politics.

Music, Movies & Books

I really listen/watch/read everything. When I moved from my parents, I carried more than 10 boxes of books, CDs and DVDs !

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I've seen "Le pont du Gard" in South France. It was really amazing.

I've lived in St-Petersbourg for two months and I miss it more than I'd like to admit

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my passions as well as I'm willing to learn about yours.

What I Can Share With Hosts

My knowledge of Montreal (food, activities, museums), food and my culture!

Countries I've Visited

Belize, Canada, France, Honduras, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Russian Federation, United Kingdom, United States
