ABOUT ME

I am Magda and i am here to fight the borders!
Once quite fascinated with ancient times - i desired to walk the world, from one end to the other, undisturbed and always curious, having my home in my backpack!!;-)
Since then i have been traveling and living in different places with a slight tendency to stay within Europe, as it is *still* an undiscovered land for me!! i am an open person, sometimes a bit brave, other times bit shy, and always ready to GO and praise the world! Such half tramp.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Right now as i am writing this - i am a freshman in this discipline so i had no experiences on my own, but heard lots of great stories. i hope to change this lines into my own stories soon!

Reading : i read compulsively! G. Perec, I. Calvino, E. Canetti, M. Duras, J. Saramago, J. Cortazar will always be on top of bookshelf, currently reading Doris Lessing and recommending her 'Grass is Singing' across the globe! It is really brilliant!:-)
2.
All kinds of discussions involving : semiotics, theory of literature, aspects of human memory, theories of consciousness and of course TRAVEL ADVENTURES!
3.
Movies!! from fellini to bollywood, but Woody Allen and Charlie Chaplin most of all. Last movie i liked : Morvern Callar.
4.
Music - is the background of life. No specifications: rock'n'roll through indie to classical music ( esp. Piano). Love listening to classical music in concerts halls and live outdoor concerts.
5. Ancient Near East : history and archaeology of the cities. Contemporary history of Middle East. Politics and general issues.
