I am a relatively new CS member. So far, I have had amazing experiences with other CouchSurfers and I am looking forward to meeting more!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading nonfiction...stuff that makes me sad about the world, but at the same time is informational, and inspires me to try to do something about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Accidentally stumbling upon a birthday party in Croatia and being warmly included by the locals only to end up dancing the Kolo (Croatian folk dance) with them...and not being able to say much more than "hello" and "thank you" in Croatian.

2) Being the subject of a ritualistic ceremony involving water, flower petals and fragrant herbs where the tribe's village elder endowed blessings on me as I left Suriname and entered the next stage of my life.
