I don't really have a serious mission or goal, but I would like to see the world and get a better understanding of all the people living on it.

ABOUT ME

Me? I'm pretty easy going. I just take what I can get and carry on with life. Not too sure where I'm going or why, but I'm not too concerned with that anyway.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is just bits and pieces. Don't be an asshole. Try to understand. You can never be sure. People are crazy. Beat the system. Enjoy life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I attempted to couch surf to Japan, but there were a series of failures in that plan and I stayed in a guesthouse instead. It was pretty cool in the end.

Interests

I'm interested in all sorts of things. I enjoy philosophy, music, books of all sorts, trivia, technology, travel (of course!) good food and drink, and all the other things that make life interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmmm, music, let's see. All sorts... Aphex Twin, Chopin, Thrush Hermit, Miles Davis, blah blah blah. There are lots lots more, but I don't feel like making a big list. I don't watch many movies... Waking Life, The Big Lebowski, A Boy and his Dog, probably a few others, but they don't spring readily to mind. Books! Lots of Asimov and Clarke, Frank Herbert's Dune series, a few books by John Brunner (The Shockwave Rider, Stand on Zanzibar, The Sheep Look Up), Fifth Business by Robertson Davies and various other works of literature I was forced to study in school. There's tons of good stuff out there, way too much for this little box.
