About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Share the world. A little bit at a time.

ABOUT ME

Goofy Lutheran who enjoys spending time outside, in a book or video game, or with friends. I'm divorced with no children and living by myself at the moment.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's a journey, not a destination. Chic and cliche, but tried and true.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not much traveling in my near future, but I can offer a couch and guides of locales.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

I love hiking, cooking, reading, and exploring. I also enjoy spending time with friends, especially in the outdoors. I'm an enthusiastic runner, and basketball finds it's way into my schedule during the summer months. I spend far too much time playing video games and watching movies, but that's another way I try to connect with people. I also foray into theater, film, and singing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing my niece being born. That beautiful little girl has left me in her tracks ever since. Watching her Irish heritage present itself by her immediately popping my brother on the nose was priceless.
Reaching base camp for Mt. Rainier in Washington state. Breaching the cloud line just below camp and stepping off the glacier into base camp, I turned around to see what kind of view we had. I was awarded with one of the most spectacular vistas: The rising run laid out in vivid and brilliant detail a feathery trail reaching from my feet out towards the rising slopes of Mt. Baker and Mt. Adams. Had I a light enough step, I could've danced along the clouds from peak to peak to peak.
