I'm a Mexican student of the Renewable Energies Engineering enrolled at the National University of Mexico (UNAM). Currently, I'm performing an exchange semester at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) for one full semester (October 2019 to March 2020).

I really love to travel, this is my third experience living abroad. I lived in London for 2 months working as a research assistant at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). Where I use my free time to travel to Scotland and Ireland. After that, I had an internship in Canada, working also as a research assistant at the University of Guelph.

To me, the best way to travel and to really get to know another country you need to live and work (or study) there for a couple of months at least. That's I have been doing this, and I'll keep doing this for some years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a student, I'm not traveling with a high budget. Staying in hostels and Airbnb's have been my experiences while knowing several cities around my current home (Munich). I have been in Edinburgh, Cork, Dublin, Berlin, and Budapest staying in that kind of places.

I've heard that also another way to stay in a city is using this app, so that's basically why I'm here, get free or cheap accommodation but also to get to know new persons (the hosts).

Interests

I'm a person that loves to try new things. Currently, my main interest is traveling as much as I can, as an exchange student, this is a unique opportunity to be in Europe for 6 months. In Mexico, my main interests are biking (I've performed very long trip ~100Km). hiking (I love to have such amazing views of mountains) and camping. I really love to be with good friends while doing these activities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I consider myself a very friendly person, I always love to share my personal experiences to whoever is interested in them. I'm 21 years old and I already been able to travel abroad for work and study several times, the things I've learned are invaluable, I love to go out from my comfort zone and always face new challenges that lead to new experiences and gain of knowledge.
