meet folks and play gigs in NY and very excited to visit that fine town again
I'm a NZ musician. just spent year playing in Europe and made first foray to US in April playing gigs in NY. Heading home for xmas via the US again and looking forward to meeting old friends and making new ones in New York. Playing the CMJ festival and then another few gigs and doing some writing and recording there.
live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been a long time believer in the human imperative to take care of the stranger in a strange land so have always offered a couch or bed to travellers when at home and there is one to spare. I've also encountered the best generosity from people all over the world in this regard when i'm travelling so its swings and roundabouts. The reclusive self often prefers the right of solitude but i've always found the experience of sharing someones pad to be a lot more enriching than staying at a hostel or hotel.
please see above. i've dossed on couches in Europe and US and Aussie and Brazil among others and travelled through south east Asia and hosted many folks at home in NZ. This is my first time on Couchsurfing though.
arts, thought, ideas. Eco-centric culture.
Music, Movies, and Books
many. I like reading alot but am slow ponderous reader. love movies and am a musician.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
hmm...I saw the Ganges in the monsoon
Teach, Learn, Share
These are a couple of things i've noticed but I really don't know anything. 1) You become good at what you do everyday. 2) Much of human behaviour (including thought patterns) is habit, and you can change your habits if you really want to.
