One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 10,000 km motorcycles-and-tents trip through 6 African countries, just my old man and I, during the rainy season.

Experienced instant, miraculous, physical healing after prayer, after 6 years of a debilitating back condition.

A weeklong water fight - Songkran in Chiang Mai.

Surfed with wild dolphins many times.

Victoria Falls.

Off-the-beaten-track honeymoon in Thailand.

Being kept awake in my tent by grazing hippos in Zambia, by noisy lions in Namibia, by a storm at Malawi's Lake of Storms, etc.

A waterspout at the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland.

Watching the exotic Orient roll by at night, to the sound of a train.

Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat at sunrise, Cambodia.

Extreme flooding in Thailand.

Surfed inside the "green room", deep in a barrel.

Rural Ireland, where they speak a different kind of English.

Living in Asia and exploring it with my exquisite wife, by tuk tuk, bicycle, motorcycle, train, car, bus, boat, taxi, etc.

Watching the full moon rise over the desert.

Helping foreigners during the 2008 xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

Experienced many supernatural things.

Staying on a junk in Halong Bay, Vietnam.

Watching elephants, rhinos, lions etc. at a watering hole in Etosha National Park, Namibia, from metres away, for days on end.

Countries I’ve Visited

Botswana, Cambodia, Ireland, Laos, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Thailand, Viet Nam, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Countries I’ve Lived In
