About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See Mexico! Learn Spanish! Travel Latin America! (and do a year of my degree somewhere along the way)

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Joe. I'm 21, and I'm a student, currently on exchange in Mexico. I believe in getting the most out of every possible, I want to see as much of Mexico and meet as many different people as possible while I'm here.

PHILOSOPHY

Si a todo (yes to everything).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I live with a host family, so I can't offer to host other couchsurfers, but in a few months I'm going to get my own house, so that's all going to change :D.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a bit of a film geek, so I could reel off a list of hundreds of movies I love, but I won't put you through that experience. Recently movies I've seen and loved have included The Motorcycle Diaries, Black Swan and 40 Days of Night. All time favourites are probably the Shawshank Redemption, Star Wars, Toy Story (classic!) and Pulp Fiction.

Music, I listen to pretty much everything. Favourites include acoustic stuff, dubstep and indy.

I read a wide range of books. I'm very partial to a brainless thriller every now and then, but I also love a book that makes you think, particularly when its original and surprises you. I also love historical fiction and some sci fi and fantasy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchiking from the UK to Morocco. Met so many fantastic and kind people, travelled in a way unlike any other and got to see one of the most interesting and vibrant countries I've ever been to at the end of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play a bit of guitar, and I'm more than happy to give a (beginner!) lesson or two to anyone who's interested. I'll provide the guitar :P.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Mexico, United Kingdom
