ABOUT ME

We are a couple living in Lexington, KY. Cullen attends the University of Kentucky and Amanda attends Transylvania University. Cullen is a mathematical economics major and Amanda is a biology and French major. We have a German Shepherd/Husky mix named Bear. He is pretty large, so be advised is you are afraid of dogs(he is very lovable, though) or have allergies. We have a roommate who also has a dog. We love the outdoors- hiking, camping and such and live near many nice hiking and camping places. We are easy going and eager to meet all kinds of people!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Amanda- While in Belize, I went on a night snorkel for my tropical ecology class. Of course it is amazing snorkeling during the day, but it was so much more humbling to be at the mercy of the ocean in the dark. The current was much stronger, making it more difficult, but it was so amazing to see the adaptations the organisms made to being active at night. Fish we would see out during the day take on a different pattern/color at night. The coolest thing was when we turned off the flashlights and saw the dinoflaggelates and their bioluminescence.
