I alternate between living in sub-Saharan Africa and the East Coast of the US; my work tends to revolve around the participation of marginalized people in decision-making / governance. I just finished building a chicken coop and am hoping to soon have fresh eggs.

Watched a baby being born in a clinic in northern Togo, by the light of a kerosene lamp.
